EyeState is a personal wellness app that helps you manage screen time and build healthier digital habits. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information related to your use of the app.

1. App Features

EyeState provides the following features:

• Screen time statistics and wellness score
• Screen usage history and trend analysis
• Screen Habits: limit or hide selected apps by daily quota, schedule, or location
• Quick restrictions and related reminders
• Eye-health support tools
• Device usage settings (e.g., restricting app install/removal, in-app purchases)
• Flip or shake to return to the Home Screen
• App Lock (Face ID, Touch ID, or gesture)
• Premium subscription (via the App Store)
• Feedback, data export, and data deletion

EyeState is a wellness support app. It does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.

2. Information We Collect

Information stored on your device (generally not uploaded to our servers):

• Onboarding questionnaire answers and preferences
• Screen time statistics, wellness scores, and related records
• Screen Habit rules and your selected apps/websites
• Saved locations for location-based rules
• Tool test results and history
• App settings (language, appearance, notifications, etc.)
• Subscription status (verified via the App Store and cached locally)

Information uploaded only when you submit feedback:

• Your feedback message
• Contact information you voluntarily provide (e.g., email)
• An anonymous user identifier and bundle ID, used to process your request

EyeState does not require account registration and does not actively collect your legal name, ID number, or similar identity information.

3. Permissions

To provide the features above, the app may request the following permissions with your consent:

• Screen Time: read usage statistics and enforce app restrictions
• Location: trigger location-based Screen Habit rules when you arrive at or leave a saved place
• Face ID / Touch ID: App Lock authentication (handled by the system)
• Notifications: local break reminders and related alerts
• Motion sensors: flip/shake shortcuts

You can revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

4. Use and Storage of Information

Your data is primarily used on your device to display statistics, apply rules you configure, and improve the product experience. Except for feedback you voluntarily submit, we do not upload your screen usage data to our servers.

5. Information Sharing

• Subscription payments are processed by the Apple App Store and governed by Apple’s privacy policy
• Feedback you submit is sent to our server for support and issue handling
• We do not sell your personal information

6. Your Rights

You can export or delete local data within the app, or remove data by uninstalling the app. Contact us if you have any questions.

7. Policy Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated policy.
